Dr. Philip Cole, II joined Mid Louisiana Surgical Specialists in 2012, and he has proven to be a huge asset to the practice.  Dr. Cole provides evaluations and treatments for a full range of general surgery conditions, including his specialty, colon and rectal surgery.  Dr. Cole received his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery, as well as a medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his general surgery training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.  He derives great satisfaction from seeing his patients quickly recover after surgery, and he enjoys helping people regain their health and well-being.

Dr. Cole has been married since 2001. He and his wife have two sons. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outside, traveling, and rooting for the New Orleans Saints, Louisiana Tech, and LSU.
